Ministry License

YFC Ministerial License

Every employee in the movement of Youth For Christ is recognized as an Associate Minister of the Gospel. Any YFC staff wishing to become a Licensed Minister may do so upon successful completion of the steps below. 

 What are the steps to receive a YFC Ministry License designation?

  1. Receive your Ministry or Executive Credential.*
  2. Begin the process, complete the Ministry Licensure enrollment form and submit through your Blueprint account, using your Impact credentials to log in.
  3. Complete Knowledge, Theology and Practical Interpretation of the Bible and submit for completion in your Blueprint account.
  4. Complete Life Practice of Reflection and Action and submit for completion. 
  5. Complete Leadership From the Shepherd's Perspective and submit for completion (note whether in-person or online).

*Veteran staff credentialed prior to the 2006 Blueprint pathway must also do the following:

  1. Purchase and read "Invitation to a Journey" by Robert Mulholland.
  2. Complete a one-day personal retreat (you decide when). 
  3. Answer three questions (submit your answers in the Blueprint portal for credit):
    1. What most resonated with you from the book?
    2. What was the retreat experience like for you?
    3. How will this book and time with Jesus affect how you follow and how you lead?
  4. Complete the 3Story® Overview online training in the Knowledge Base (under Training). 

Ministerial License will be issued upon completion of the Ministerial Licensing Curriculum, completion requested, confirmed and approved per each element. A certificate and wallet-sized card, sent by training@yfc.net will signify your licensure.
